New member for expanding compliance team

DOUGLAS, Isle of Man – Moore Stephens Isle of Man are delighted to welcome Becky Galvin on board as compliance officer and MLRO. As part of the firm’s rapidly expanding compliance department, Becky is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations are in line with agreed compliance procedures and that all business adheres to the applicable regulations, as well as providing compliance training and materials to both staff and external compliance clients.

“I’m very excited to be part of the Moore Stephens team,” said Becky, “I especially look forward to working with the growing list of entities coming to the firm for assistance with their compliance issues.”

Becky has been working in the finance sector for 15 years. Her experience includes corporate governance, risk management including the risk of financial crime and fraud, monitoring the adequacy and effectiveness of internal compliance controls and business continuity planning. Before embarking on her compliance career in 2004, Becky worked in Europe for a number of years and was a superyacht chief stewardess.

She currently holds two diplomas in International Compliance and International Anti-money laundering, awarded by the ICA in association with Manchester Business School.
