Dragons' Den backs Manx Business

Dragons' Den backs Manx business

Moore Dixon Isle of Man coaches start-ups, and over the last ten years has been involved in almost 200 embryonic businesses.

One of them, Stephanie Kelsey, presented her business case on BBC's Dragons' Den to Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Sara Davies, Tej Lalvani and Touker Suleyman.

Her pitch was a success. She came away with Davies and Suleyman both investing in her venture, Beach Powder, in exchange for a 24.5% share each.

Manufactured in the Isle of Man and now marketed internationally, the talc-free, eco-safe Beach Powder removes beach sand from your skin, saving car interiors, beach cottages and even superyachts.

“It’s such a privilege to help these courageous individuals make their entrepreneurial dreams come true,” says Moore Dixon partner Clive Dixon, “Congratulations, Stephanie!”
