Summer Professional Seminars at Moore Stephens

DOUGLAS, Isle of Man – Training is “in season” during July and August at Moore Stephens with basic business topics and compliance.

Starting the first week of August, Moore Stephens’ Compliance Officer and MLRO, Becky Galvin will be hosting a series of lunchtime compliance seminars covering Fraud, AML/CFT, Information Security and the Bribery Act and Anti-corruption. Each session provides 1 hour CPD and costs £60.

“Compliance awareness and skills in business are vital almost everywhere and especially in a quality international finance centre like the Isle of Man,” Becky observed, “We recognise though that busy professionals are challenged in finding opportunities to stay current – convenient, clear, and concise, but above all professional describes the ethos of our programme.”

Always selling-out, the free Moore Stephens Business Sense® seminars appeal to a broad spectrum of the Island’s business people. So the popular The 5 Steps of Selling, How to do a Cashflow Projection and How to Work a Room are back, starting on Wednesday 20 July. The series is aimed at local small business owners, the self-employed and those looking for help with running a small and local business in today’s market.

“Everyone seems to enjoy them, especially me,” observed Moore Stephens’ in-house business and executive coach, Bransom Bean who presents the Business Sense® seminars, “They always generate lively participation with new takes on the subject and usually at least one question that I struggle to answer – love it.”
